Turquoise blue, primrose yellow, spring green and Indian red are among the colors lending this artwork a vivacious energy. In a process called sugarlift, Chihuly's drawings on printing plates with sugar water become etched into the plates. Combined with vivid colors and masterful printing, these marks result in a beautiful representation of Chihuly's Macchia Baskets.
