The careful application of a blow-torch adds a unique effect to the energy of four Macchia Baskets which appear to be toasting one another. Grounded on a background of soft peach, three additional plates of color include spring green, bright yellow, and black. The distinctive burn marks were made upon the completed prints, followed by beautiful rose-colored lipwraps and bold black outlines in acrylic paint. Chihuly's signature finishes the work with dynamic flourish.
